Something has been wrong
So I've had an eye twitch for about four days that won't go away, and a headache that's been lingering for around three days that comes and goes at its own free will, regardless of the ibuprofen I've been ingesting like candy. Blame it on the exhausting exam I just took, or the looming threat of unemployment, or even the graduate school application failures that pop up spontaneously in my inbox to cheer my otherwise monotonous days. Blame it on the sudden notification that I have to present my research to a panel of other lab members from our adjacent lab, a presentation I thought I had avoided for this year (as I have no significant research to present). God only hopes I'll be able to scrabble together new results for this March 29th date. So maybe it's the lack of success in lab. Or maybe it's the family, getting on my case about taxes and money and loans and income, or future or help tutoring or help writing essays. Maybe it's the lack of exercise and lack of daily beer, or the inverse, the absolute disgustingly excessive junk food consumption of the past few days. Maybe it's because I've stopped writing in my free time and feel as though I've lost the capacity to write not annoying things. Maybe it's just me.
But it's the eye twitch that's really driving me up the wall. Really, when did everything inside become such a jumbled indecipherable mess?
On a happier note, I think I've improved somewhat over the years. I scrolled far back in this blog and came across the very first post (which was actually my very first blog post ever and was transferred here during a move), and man! I was awfully annoying and negative and depressing and trying so hard to be convoluted when really...I never was and am not. It's a blog with an "affected" manner, as the god of SAT reading would say. I didn't even capitalize my I's....I've since gone back and changed that, but really, I wonder what I was thinking when I did that. Some hypotheses, I guess....
